Thin bowls should be kept dry, and wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Thicker bowls may be used for liquids. Over time this will darken the color substantially. Wash gently by hand in warm soapy water, dry immediately; do not leave soaking.
To oil: if the wood seems dried out, put a few drops of walnut oil or mineral oil in the bowl and rub with a clean dry cloth. The oil will soak into the wood and rejuvenate it.
